A little about me

I am mum to 4 beautifully wild children, 1 hairy wolf dog, 2 farm cats, 2 rabbits and many (so many) greedy chickens. I am fortunate to have a wonderfully supportive husband, who enables me to spend endless hours in the garden.

I am passionate about gardening – I even enjoy deadheading flowers that I introduced into my mother in laws garden. I grow vegetables and flowers in my own garden and continually tweak it, (sneaking another pot purchase in whenever no one’s watching).

I avoid the use of chemicals in my gardening. I much prefer to encourage and introduce natural predators (yes you really can mail order ladybirds to help with your aphid invasion) and use companion planting for vegetables and flowers. I also enjoy a good snail and slug relocation hunt in order to save my plants from being completely eaten!
