Basic maintenance

Starts at £25 per hour

“I would like my garden to look tidy”

This covers light weeding, light shrub pruning, dead-heading flowers, mowing the grass and strimming the edges. Also includes planting as directed by you or myself.

Manicuring

Starts at £30 an hour

“I would like my garden to look perfect”

This is detailed and time consuming work; I will work towards getting your garden as close to perfect as nature allows. Includes thorough weeding, light shrub pruning, dead-heading flowers, mowing the grass, strimming the edges, cutting the edges of grass borders, maintaining topiary shapes and knee high hedges, tying in plants (roses, clematis, squash etc.)

Bespoke

Starts at £30 an hour

“Help me! Somebody! Please!”

For those who have moved house and need a complete or partial redesign i.e “We have a large pond and a curious 2 year old” or “I love colour but I just have lawn”. Involves a consultation where we would discuss your preferences and what works with the level of maintenance you can manage or need me to manage. How do you use your garden – do you want to sit in your conservatory and enjoy the view or are you inviting friends over to sample your new pizza oven? Lots of things to think about, that can often feel overwhelming, but I can help you with the focus and offer some solutions within your budget.

Alternatively you might just have a few spots in the garden that need filling; I can help you choose plants for those gaps, source them and plant them for you.

Garden Structures

Starts at £30 an hour

“I’d like a thingy over there and maybe a thing-a-ma-bob over here”

Perhaps you’ve had your eye on an archway to support your roses, or you’d like something to draw your eye down the garden or grow some veggies in. Starting at £30 an hour for design, prices varying depending on how long the installation takes from preparation of ground to completion. Charges for a full days labour vary but are around £200 per person (generally there’s two of us), plus materials and additional tools that we might need to hire in depending on the job. You will see a nice picket fence dividing a garden in the gallery, along with a wooden arbour and bespoke raised vegetable planters, which give you an idea of some of what I can do for you.

Seasonal services

Starts at £25 an hour

“Oooo I do LOVE a daffodil”

Covering a variety of necessary aspects of gardening; winter mulching, winter plant protection for those tender ones, pruning, autumnal bulb planting – to name but a few. Your wish is (pretty much) my command, so let me know what you need doing and we’ll get it in the calendar!
Sadly, I cannot control the weather. If you have tender non-hardy plants and I provide seasonal protection then I cannot guarantee the survival of your plant, I can only try my best! These types of plants are best over wintered in a greenhouse or conservatory.
